Medicare Supplement insurance (also called Medigap) helps pay your out-of-pocket costs when using Medicare Part A & B services.  These costs include the Part A Hospital deductible and the Part B Medical Services 20% co-insurance.

These plans are only for anyone enrolled into both Medicare Part A & B.

The best time to buy a Medicare Supplement policy is when first enrolling into Medicare, when there is an open enrollment period to buy with no health questions to answer.
